Brewers Losse Heartbreaker in the 9th in Game 2 Against Mile High Pirates

In game 2 of the Memorial Day double header against the Mile High Pirates, the Brewers tried for the sweep... but fell one strike short.  It took till the 3rd inning for ether team to trike first due to some impressive pitching on both sides.  The Brewers finally started the scoring after a single by Behan, who then stole second and was driven home by Frieske.  The Pirates then took the lead in the 4th with 2 runs off only 1 hit and 2 walks.  In the 5th, the Brewers tied it up with doubles by Gossage and Dreyer only to give it back up in the 6th once again due to walks and some miscues on defense.  Answering back in the top of the 7th, the Brewers scored 2 more, and once again gave both runs back in the top of the 7th thanks to 3 more walks in the inning.  Finally the Brewers were able to get something going scoring 4 runs in the top of the 8th with hits by Goldberg, Fountain, Hartman and Gossage... and this time the Brewers were able to hold the lead in the bottom of the inning giving them an 8-5 lead going into the 9th.  The Brewers were unable to pad their lead even though they loaded the basses.  In the bottom of the 9th Pirates Jones led the inning off with a single and it all the way to 3rd on a trowing error.  The Brewers then got 2 quick outs, one of them scoring Jones making the score 8-6.  Then after an error by the 2nd baseman and a 2 out walk putting runners at first and 2nd and a 3-2 count on the batter Crowe... Crowe chased a slider in the dirt for strike 3... however, the Brewers catcher threw the ball in the dirt to 1st base allowing Crowe to reach base and the runner from 2nd to score... keeping the inning and the game to keep going now with a score of 8-7. The next batter walked after working a full count to load the bases.  Then on a 2 ball count, Neves drove a single down the right field line, bringing home the runners from 3rd and 2nd giving the Pirates the 9-8 win over the Brewers.
