The game was all about Brewers pitcher Morran who went all 9 innings against the A's only giving up 3 runs on the day (1 earned) and striking out 20.  The game started off with a J. Vaughn single, who came around to score with a bases loaded walk by K. Gossage.  J. Vaughn scored again after leading off the 3rd, stealing second and scoring on an RBI single by F. Vaughn.  The A's scored their own run in the 3rd, making it a 2-1 game when a single drove in a runner who originally reached base on an infield error.  Scoring remained a premium until the 7th, then the Brewer started to open it up with a double by F. Vaughn singles by Morran, Wood and E. Gossage and a sac fly by K. Gossage scoring 3 in the inning making the score 5-2 after the A's scored a run of their own.  The scoring ended in the 9th when the Brewers brought home 3 more with singles by E. Gossage and K. Gossage, a double by Hartman and a sac fly by Wood. On the day Morran gave up 7 hits and only walked 2 while striking out an amazing 20 batter getting the win 8-3.
