In game 2 the Braves got off to a quick start against the Brewers emergency starter Cortez scoring 2 runs off of 2 hits, 2 walks and a hit batsman.  The Brewers answered in the 1st scoring Dreyer off of an rbi single by F. Vaughn making he game 1-2.  the Braves extended their lead in the 2nd after several walks and an fielders choice... But he Brewers stayed within striking distance after an RBI double by Wood made the game 3-2 Braves after 2.  In the 3rd the Brewers took the lead for the first time with 4 straight hits to lead off the inning... a single by F. Vaughn, a Goldberg Double, a T. Meals single and a 3 Run Home Run by Nuss making it 6-3.  In the top of the 4th, the Brewers kept it close with w 2 run shot by their center fielder (his 2nd of the day)... But in the bottom of that same inning was when the Brewers kept it going plating 5 with hits by Dreyer, Cortez, Goldberg and a 2 run Home Run by J. Vaughn.  Cortez kept it going on the mound though 6 complete innings giving up 5 hits.  The Brewers plated 2 more in the 5th with another RBI Double by Wood and again in the 6th with an RBI single by Vandas making it a 14-5 game.  Nuss came into relief of Cortez pitching the final 2 innings only giving up 1 hit and no runs... keeping it in range for the Brewers to end the game via the 10 run rule only having to bring 1 more run across in the bottom of the 8th.  F. Vaughn lead off the bottom of the 8th with a double bring up Goldberg, who then hit his 3rd Home Run of the day ending the game 16-5.
