In week 3 the Brewers took on the Bombers. The last time these two teamed faced off was in the 2009 NABA championship at Sky Sox Stadium. Weins once again started on the hounds... but this time he was pitching for the Brewers. The Brewers were sat down 1-2-3 in the first... but brought home the first run on the game in the second, after a leadoff triple by T. Gossage (POTW) who was then brought home via a Morran sac fly. Unfortunately due to some are stiffness, Weins was only able to go 1 and a third innings leaving the game with a 1-0 lead. Morran took over on the hill pitching the next 3 and 2/3 innings to get his first win of the season giving up only 2 hits and no runs. The Brewers bats came alive in the 4th after Peters lead the inning off with a walk they plated 6 consecutive batters topped off by a 3 run Home Run by Moran and a 2 RBI single by T. Gossage. The 5th was another big run inning for the Brewers scoring 4 more, once again started off by a leadoff walk by Peters and capped off by a F. Vaughn double. After Morran, E. Gossage came in to wrap up the game pitching the last two innings.
