Due to prior commitments, weddings, work, birth of children and last minute cancelations the Brewers took on the Goodies with a depleted roster and were only able to play with some help from the Bullfrogs. The Brewers struck first after a Goldberg walk and an RBI single by K. Gossage. The score stayed 1-0 until the 3rd when the Brewers batted around when the Brewers scored 6 capped off by back to back Home Runs by K. Gossage and Meals. The Goodies answered in the 3rd by scoring 3 off of emergency started Cortez who was relieved by Hartman who pitched out of a bases loaded jam. The Brewers struck again in the 4th after a leadoff double by Goldberg who was driving home by a Cortez fielders choice. Hartman gave up 4 runs to the Goodies in the 4th making it 8-7. After each team scored in the 5th the score stood 9-8 Brewers. On the mound for the Brewers Meals paced his way through the last few innings striking out 10 and giving up 3 runs. The Brewers scored 3 more in the 7th and 8th off of hits by Smith, Hartman and Meals. Making the final score 12-9
