The Brewers offense got off to a methodical start agains the Rockhounds Sunday scoring one run in the first after a leadoff walk by F. Vaughn followed by some aggressive base running. The same trend continued in the 2nd with the first Brewers hit of the game hot coming until the 4th inning thanks to a leadoff double by Bartlett, who scored on an RBI groundout by K. Gossage. On the Mound, Duggan was keeping the hitters off balanced and using his defense to keep the Rockhounds to only 1 run and five hits through 7 innings while striking out 10. The Brewers bats woke up in the 6th with a leadoff walk by F. Vaughn, an RBI double by Bartlett, a Morran walk and a 3 Run Home RUn by K. Gossage. E. Gossage pitched the final 2 innings to finish off the win giving up only 1 hit and striking out 4.
