Brewers Sweep the Charros in a Double Dip 

The Brewers took on the Charros in a double header this past Sunday.  In game one the Brewers started off fast with Reynes sealing second and third after a leadoff walk.  He then scored on a F. Vaughn triple.  The runs continued for the Brewers in the second inning with hits by McCann and J Vaughn, topped off by a 3 run Home Run by Goldberg.  The Brewers added another run in the third after a double and another stolen base by Reynes and a sac fly by F. Vaughn.  Nuss started on the mound for the Brewers getting his first mound time of the year.  He had a quick first, and a pitched out of a jam in the seccond... but the 3rd gave him some problems after 2 leadoff walks and 3 run Home Run by the Charros Sierra making the score 5-3.  Gossage came in relief giving up 1 run in 4 1/3 innings.  Going into the 8th, the game was close with the Brewers leading 8-4... Then the Brewers bats got HOT!  Batting around in the 8th scoring 10 runs in the inning with 7 straight hits including doubles from F. VaughnB. Cortez & J. Vaughn and Goldbergs second 3 run Home Run of the Game finishing the scoring giving the Brewers the 18-4 win.
