The Bombers struck first in the top of the first, leading the game off with a single... then they sacrificed the runner over to second. After a ground out, the runner came around to score when the Bombers Weins singled to center. The Inning ended when the Brewers McCann struck out his first batter of the day. The Brewers bats went right to work in the bottom of the 1st... with leadoff hitter Reynes hitting the ball off the pitcher and beating out an infield single. Behan then got hit by the pitch and F. Vaughn hit a single to load the basses. Goldberg then unloaded on the first pitch he saw hitting a Grand Slam giving the Brewers the lead 4-1. The scoring continued in the first with the Brewers batting around with Cortez and Nuss both hitting doubles. In the second, the Bombers answered after McCann struck out the first batter of the inning... the next two hitters hit a double and a Homer Run, making the score 9-3.
