Brewers Extend 1st Place Lead With Win Over Bombers
On Sunday the Brewers took on the 12-1 Bombers with sole possession of 1st place up for grabs. Featured players of the game were, F. Vaughn who was 2 for 4 with a double, a triple 2 RBI's and some great plays in the filed including 3 double plays with Nuss who was 1 for 2 with his first Home Run of the year. J. Vaughn was 2 for 4 with a Home Run and 2 RBI's, Wood was 2 for 2 with a double and 2 RBI's, Goldberg was 2 for 2 with a Home Run, 3 Runs, 2 RBI's and 2 walks and Cortez was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's and a stolen base.

Brewers Hit 8 Home Runs in Sweep of Hondos
The Brewers moved to 13-1 after sweeping the Hondos on Fathers Day. Pitching was on and the bats were hot. Jobe got his 5th win of the season on the mound and J. Vaughn and Gossage each had 2 Home Runs. There were a lot of hitting stars on the day: Behan was 6 for 9 with a double, a HR, 8 RBI and 2 SB, F. Vaughn was 5 for 7 with 3 doubles and 7 RBI, J. Vaughn was 5 for 7 with 2 HR and 7 RBI, Gossage with 4 for 6 with 2 HR 5 RBI and went 5 innings with 5 K's and 2 hits, Meals was 4 for 8 with 2 doubles, a HR, 5 RBI, 1 inning pitched with 3 K's, Vandas was 4-5 with a double, 4 SB and 1 inning pitched with 2 K's, Goldberg was 4 for 4 with a double a HR and 7 RBI and Wood was 4 for 6.
